Role Overview
The Vice President - Operations will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing, supply chain, new product industrialization, and delivery excellence for a rapidly scaling EV charging business. The role demands deep hands-on experience in large-scale manufacturing operations, new product development, and direct engagement with India’s leading automotive OEMs.
This leader will play a critical role in bringing new EV charging products from concept to mass production, while scaling operations in line with aggressive growth plans and ensuring world-class quality, cost, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing & Operations Excellence
• Own and lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production, quality, planning, and continuous improvement.
• Scale manufacturing capacity to meet growing OEM demand while maintaining best-in-class quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) across plants and suppliers.
• Own and lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production, quality, planning, and continuous improvement.
• Scale manufacturing capacity to meet growing OEM demand while maintaining best-in-class quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) across plants and suppliers.
2. New Product Development (NPD) & Industrialization
• Lead the operations and industrialization aspects of new product development, from design freeze to mass production.
• Partner closely with R&D, product management, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA), reliability, and cost optimization.
• Own prototype builds, pilot production, PPAP/APQP processes, and smooth ramp-up to volume production.
• Ensure new products meet OEM standards, regulatory compliance, and certification requirements.
• Shorten time-to-market through structured NPI/NPD processes and cross-functional execution.

• Collaborate with OEM quality, supply chain, and program teams to support new product launches and production ramp-ups.

4. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
• Build and manage a resilient and cost-effective supplier ecosystem for power electronics, assemblies, and critical components.
• Work with suppliers during NPD phases to develop new components, validate processes, and ensure scalability and localization.

• Drive data-driven decision making through robust MIS, KPIs, and operational dashboards.

Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field).
• MBA in Operations / Supply Chain / Industrial Management preferred.

• 12–15 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing operations and new product industrialization, preferably in EVs, automotive, power electronics, or industrial products.
