Python AWS Developer

Job Summary

The AWS Developer will be responsible for creating and managing cloud-based applications using various AWS services. This role requires a focus on developing and deploying solutions that can effectively utilize AWS tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency in cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cloud applications using AWS services, focusing on AWS Glue and AWS Lambda.
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodeArtifact, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Package Python applications and libraries for deployment and distribution.
• Utilize PySpark for data processing and transformation within the AWS ecosystem.
• Collaborate with teams to design and optimize cloud architectures and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue (70%) and AWS Lambda (30%).
• Experience with AWS Developer Tools including CodeCommit, CodeArtifact, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline.
• Proficient in Python programming, particularly in packaging libraries and applications.
• Knowledge of PySpark for large scale data processing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a remote work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with other AWS services like S3, EC2, and RDS.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
