AWS and Sales Executive

Job Summary

The AWS and Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving the sales of AWS solutions, managing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This position is designed to combine a strong technical understanding of AWS services with a strategic sales approach to meet and exceed revenue targets. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding market share and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on AWS solutions, aligning with business goals.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure that client needs are met with accurate AWS solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase AWS services and value propositions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt sales strategies for enhanced customer acquisition.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while reporting performance metrics to management.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales with a strong background in promoting technical products or services.
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud computing services and related technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and client management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Educational background in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (BSc, BTech or equivalent).
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline and closing deals within a competitive market environment.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or similar credentials.
  • Proficiency in using digital sales tools and platforms.
  • Ability to analyze market data and identify trends for strategic planning.
  • Experience in developing tailored sales proposals for diverse client needs.

Experience

  • Relevant sales experience with a focus on technology or cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience working with AWS products, services, or solutions is highly desirable.
