Azure AI Chat Agent Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Chat Agent Developer to join our offshore development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying conversational AI agents using Azure AI services. This role contributes directly to the organization’s goals by leveraging cutting-edge Azure technologies to create intelligent, efficient, and secure chat solutions. Familiarity with Lundbeck-specific implementations is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design & Develop Chat Agents: Create intelligent chat agents using Azure OpenAI, Azure Bot Framework, and Azure Cognitive Services.
• Backend Integration: Integrate chat agents with backend data sources, APIs, and knowledge bases.
• Data Pipeline & Model Development: Build and manage data pipelines for real-time and batch data collection; design and implement data models to optimize conversational interactions.
• Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Testing & Optimization: Perform regular testing and tuning of chatbots to ensure optimal accuracy, performance, and user experience.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy standards are met and document system designs, workflows, and solution architectures clearly.

Qualifications

• Azure AI Expertise: Strong experience with Azure AI tools including Azure OpenAI, Azure Bot Framework, Azure Cognitive Search, and Azure Language Studio / Azure QnA Maker.
• Chatbot & NLP Knowledge: Solid understanding of chatbot design principles, NLP/NLU models, and conversational design.
• Production Deployment: Proven ability to build and deploy conversational agents in production environments.
• Data Engineering: Experience in developing data pipelines and building data models to support AI/ML applications.
• Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in Python, C#, or Node.js for bot/backend development.
• DevOps Skills: Familiarity with REST APIs, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Lundbeck-specific environments or platforms.
• Additional certifications related to Azure services or AI technologies.

Experience

• 5 to 9 years of experience focused on Azure AI and chat agent development.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying conversational AI solutions.
