Position Overview:
A Program Manager for centralized data center technical operations oversees projects that standardize
and optimize global data center functions from one location. This role ensures efficient service delivery
across multiple sites, focusing on technical operations like server management, power, cooling, and
security.
Key Responsibilities
 Plan and execute projects to standardize operations like monitoring and maintenance across
global sites.
o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
o Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and
objectives are met.
o Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to ensure successful
completion.
 Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project
outcomes.
o Proactively address issues and resolve conflicts within the project team.
 Stakeholder Communication:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
o Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on project
status, risks, and issues.
 Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all project deliverables meet project objectives, industry standards and
best practices.
o Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best
practices.
 Budget Management:
o Oversee project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
o Manage project expenditures and provide detailed financial reports.
 Maintain Dashboards to enhance visibility and control.
 Apply ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) for processes like incident and change management,
ensuring high service availability.
 Collaborate with regional teams to align local needs with centralized strategies, managing risks
and compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Qualifications
 Requires 7+ years in program management, with at least 5 years in ITSM, and experience in
data center operations.
 Strong understanding of data center technologies and industry standards.
 Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
 Skills include expertise in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC remedy) and project management
tools (e.g., MS Project).
 Preferred certifications: ITIL, PMP, or data center management (e.g., CDCP).
