Data Modeler

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to design, implement, and document data architecture and data modeling solutions. The individual will work closely with the data team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and data quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models for complex data architectures.
• Collaborate with data architects and database developers to ensure data models are implemented accurately.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Maintain and update data models to accommodate new business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and quality across all data models.
• Provide guidance and support in data management and data governance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database design.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data solutions.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Understanding of business intelligence and data analytics tools.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling or related fields.
