Job Summary

The Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting the financial modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This position involves collaboration with key stakeholders, defining functional specifications, and ensuring the effective implementation and management of finance-related enhancements to optimize business processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Oracle R12.2 EBS Functional Consultant with strong functional knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
• Work extensively on India Localization and Goods and Services Tax (GST) implementations.
• Define project priorities, write functional specifications, and coordinate developments with the technical team.
• Regularly test and train users, communicating enhancement status effectively.
• Report activity to management and collaborate with functional support in other zones to share information.
• Interface with key stakeholders to provide support on assigned tasks.
• Maintain an excellent understanding of the full project life cycle and Oracle implementation methodologies, including Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) and Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
• Promote best practices in code promotion across instances.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Oracle EBS Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, and version control systems.
• Excellent client management and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Demonstrated team player mentality with a focus on collective success.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Educational qualifications unspecified.

• Experience with Oracle EBS implementation processes.

Experience

Environment

• This position is onsite in Kailash Colony, Delhi or Mumbai.
• The role involves a standard work week of 6 days, with specified holidays: only the 2nd Saturday & all Sundays in Delhi, and the 2nd & 4th Saturday & all Sundays in Mumbai.

Salary

• The estimated salary for this role is 1.8 L per month.
