Job Summary

The Solution Developer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions using a variety of technologies. They will work closely with other team members to enhance existing systems and create new applications that meet business needs. This role will contribute to the overall success of the organization by utilizing technical skills and knowledge in insurance and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and other structured query languages.
• Write and optimize stored procedures and queries for data manipulation and extraction.
• Create scripts and automated processes using Visual Basic and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies and tools.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications and databases.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to improve system performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 education, with an IT qualification or diploma preferred.
• Microsoft Certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server 2012+, T-SQL, and similar query languages such as Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of Visual Basic (VBScript) and intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Familiarity with technologies and tools such as Basic C#, CSS, SSRS, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and Flowgear.
• Knowledge and experience in insurance, InsurTech, financial services, and/or FinTech are highly advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in software development methodologies.
• Familiar with agile practices and DevOps culture.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Environment

• The position is based in Pune.
• The candidate should be flexible with the notice period ranging from immediate to 30 days.

Salary

• The estimated salary is 12 LPA.
