Job Summary
The Regional Placement Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with employers across various industries. This role is vital in driving placement opportunities for students and ensuring high placement conversion rates, contributing significantly to the organization’s goals in student employability and corporate engagement.
Responsibilities

Corporate Relations & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and establish new corporate partnerships for student placements across the region.
- Renew and strengthen existing client ties to ensure sustained recruitment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition Heads, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct professional presentations and meetings with HR Heads and decision-makers to secure placement partnerships.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, networking events, and employer engagement initiatives.

Placement Operations
- Plan and execute campus recruitment drives across all centers within the region.
- Facilitate campus interviews and recruitment processes with employers from sectors including Airlines, Hospitality, Airport Ground Services, Travel & Tourism, Customer Service, Retail, and other relevant service industries.
- Coordinate interview schedules, candidate assessments, and employer interactions.
- Ensure smooth execution of recruitment activities and timely closure of placement opportunities.

Student Placement & Employability
- Drive and achieve a minimum of a 90% student placement rate across the assigned region.
- Monitor placement progress and implement corrective actions to address placement gaps.
- Collaborate with Training and Operations teams to align student competencies with industry requirements.
- Guide students on interview preparation, career opportunities, and employer expectations.

Stakeholder Management
- Build excellent rapport and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all placement-related corporate engagements.
- Gather employer feedback and work with academic and training teams to enhance student employability.

MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of employer interactions, placement drives, interviews, and student placements.
- Prepare periodic reports on placement performance, employer engagement, and placement targets.
- Track key placement metrics and ensure the achievement of regional KPIs.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate
- Experience: 8–12 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, or Training & Placement functions.
- Experience working with educational institutions, skill development organizations, aviation, hospitality, or vocational training sectors is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Strong corporate networking and relationship management skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to achieve placement targets.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes.
- Data analysis, reporting, and Management Information System (MIS) management capabilities.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Experience
8–12 years of relevant experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, or Training & Placement functions.
Environment
The role may involve considerable travel across the assigned region, focusing on corporate engagements and campus recruitment activities.
Salary
