ZenZebra is innovating the landscape of contextual retail with "Lifestyle Breakspots." We create energetic, industrial-chic spaces within corporate offices and campus parks where professionals can enjoy coffee while discovering clean, rooted brands. Having successfully completed our pilot phase, we are scaling to over 50 locations and are seeking a structured architect to build our operational machine.

Job Summary

The Head of Operations & Supply Chain will transition the company from a founder-led hustle to a highly structured system. This role is critical for taking complete ownership of both inward logistics, including procurement and warehousing, as well as outward execution such as store fill rates and ground team management. The primary objective is to ensure zero stock-outs, protect gross margins, and establish an airtight perpetual inventory system.

Responsibilities

• System Implementation: Eliminate spreadsheets and establish a robust Point of Sale (POS) and perpetual inventory system.
• Operational Guardrails: Create, enforce, and maintain strict opening and closing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the ground team.
• Shelf Fill Rate: Set reorder points and manage daily dispatch to ensure a 99% fill rate across all breakspots.
• Vendor & Procurement Mechanics: Oversee physical product intake and immediately identify dead stock or damaged goods.
• Ground Command: Lead Warehouse Coordinators and Area Managers to maintain the company’s "Apple-style" aesthetic throughout operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in city operations or supply chain management, specifically within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), quick-commerce, or modern retail.
• Systematic Mindset: Strong aversion to manual entry, with a proven ability to design foolproof systems to minimize errors.
• Ground Commander: Comfortable in warehouse settings and stores, capable of enforcing rules with a youthful retail workforce.
• Margin-Obsessed: Personal accountability for inventory shrinkage and missing stock.
• Bonus Skill: Experience in scaling operations from scratch in a high-growth startup environment.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with modern retail technologies and inventory management software.

Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations and supply chain roles focusing on fast-paced environments like QSR or modern retail.

Environment

The role is on-site in New Delhi, primarily in a warehouse and retail environment with a focus on physical oversight and management.

Salary

The estimated salary range is ₹9.6L – ₹12L CTC.
