Job Summary

The Functional Analyst will leverage their technical and functional knowledge to support business requirements and improve processes within the organization. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure functional compatibility, compliance, and the overall integrity of systems. The analyst will analyze business requirements, create documentation, validate work, and facilitate communication among teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and analyze submissions from Product Management.
• Build, maintain, and share knowledge on processes, services, and end-user product usage.
• Write comprehensive documentation including Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, and Product Specifications, and present functional walk-throughs to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance of delivered functionalities by contributing to the test strategy and reviewing test plans.
• Ensure all tests are traceable to specifications and maintain production integrity by managing reported incidents.
• Communicate effectively with Product Management, Project Management, Customer Services, and Development teams, and interface with customers during various phases, including requirements gathering and testing.
• Participate in team events and support stakeholders by attending Agile forums and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and functional knowledge relevant to the discipline and business area.
• Experience in processing and analyzing business requirements.
• Ability to write detailed functional documentation and specifications.
• Familiarity with test strategies and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and seek out opportunities for process improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and team collaboration practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks and incident management.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles.

Experience

• Prior experience in a functional analytics role or similar position is preferable.
