Job Description: We are seeking motivated, entrepreneurial Investment professionals to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for development in an actively growing, start-up investment manager. We are looking for multiple candidates with complimentary skills sets as we build out our investment team. Responsibilities:  Financial Modeling and Analysis: evaluate the economics of prospective investments by building asset-based and corporate cash flow models  Data Analysis: Perform analysis of historical data from public and proprietary datasets to develop default, prepayment, and severity projections for collateral performance.  Due Diligence: Evaluate potential investments and counterparties to ensure adherence to Indago’s credit, regulatory, legal, and operational standards.  Research: Conduct research on Asset-based private credit and Specialty Finance markets to inform investment decisions, help establish investment thesis and educate our investors.  Investment Recommendation: Communicate research findings and investment analysis through drafting investment memos and presentations.  Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze portfolio performance by tracking delinquency/loss rates, collateral valuations, and counterparty/sponsor risk.  Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with team members across departments and stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices. Basic Qualifications:  Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field from a top-tier institution. Postgraduate Degree, MBA, CFA, or similar a plus.  4 to 6 years of experience analyzing Asset-Based investment opportunities in the residential, consumer, or commercial sectors.  Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and valuation techniques.  Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Bloomberg, Intex).  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and succinctly.  Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Preferred Qualifications:  Prior buyside or sellside experience focused on Private Asset-Based Finance, Structured Credit, Specialty Finance, or other Securitized Products.  Knowledge of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Residential and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS/CMBS), Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), or similar products.  Familiarity with documentation used in securitized transactions including Loan Sale Agreements, Credit Agreements, Servicing Agreements, and Indentures a plus.  Familiarity with interest rate products a plus  Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling using SQL, Python, and/or R.  Ideal candidates should be able to create institutional quality presentations materials for the Investment Committee or Investor Marketing books. Compensation: Total compensation may include a discretionary performance-based cash bonus and carried interest allocation.
