Associate Product Manager

Job Summary

As an Associate Product Manager, you will be instrumental in transforming the construction industry through innovative AI-powered solutions. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer success to drive product development and deliver exceptional value to our customers in the construction industry. Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Assist in defining and prioritizing the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
• Customer & User Research: Engage directly with construction industry customers to understand their pain points and workflows, conduct user interviews, and synthesize feedback into actionable product recommendations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features and partner with design teams to create user experiences that address industry problems.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key product metrics and analyze usage data to identify improvement opportunities and validate hypotheses.
• Product Operations: Manage product backlogs, participate in sprint planning, and document product features while maintaining internal knowledge bases.
• Industry Expertise Development: Stay updated on construction technology trends and build relationships with industry experts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, or related roles.
• Knowledge: Interest in or exposure to B2B SaaS products; familiarity with the construction industry or construction technology is advantageous but not required; experience with AI/ML products is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfort working with data.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is beneficial.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of product management best practices and methodologies.
• Previous exposure to market research and competitive analysis.
