Associate Product Manager
Job Summary
As an Associate Product Manager, you will be instrumental in transforming the construction industry through innovative AI-powered solutions. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer success to drive product development and deliver exceptional value to our customers in the construction industry. It is an excellent opportunity for learning and growth in product management, while making a significant impact on a rapidly scaling product.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Assist in defining and prioritizing the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Customer & User Research: Engage directly with construction industry customers to understand their pain points and workflows, conduct user interviews, and synthesize feedback into actionable product recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features and partner with design teams to create user experiences that address industry problems.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key product metrics and analyze usage data to identify improvement opportunities and validate hypotheses.
- Product Operations: Manage product backlogs, participate in sprint planning, and document product features while maintaining internal knowledge bases.
- Industry Expertise Development: Stay updated on construction technology trends and build relationships with industry experts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, or related roles.
- Knowledge: Interest in or exposure to B2B SaaS products; familiarity with the construction industry or construction technology is advantageous but not required; experience with AI/ML products is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfort working with data.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Google Analytics) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is beneficial.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of product management best practices and methodologies.
- Previous exposure to market research and competitive analysis.
