Job Summary

The Magento Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce solutions using Magento 2. This role requires a deep understanding of Magento's platform, customization capabilities, and integration with various third-party services to enhance user experience and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Magento 2 applications and solutions.
• Create and customize themes and modules in Magento.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain the version control of code using Git.
• Integrate REST/SOAP APIs and ensure smooth functionality with third-party services.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance related to Magento applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Magento, with a strong emphasis on Magento 2.
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• In-depth knowledge of Magento theming, module development, and customization.
• Experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs with e-commerce platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Understanding of SEO best practices specific to e-commerce websites.
• Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
