Job Summary

The SDE Tester for Accounts Email is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of various email systems associated with account management. This role will contribute to improving user experiences through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for email functionality related to accounts.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues within the email system.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and confirm fixes.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in reviews of requirements and design specifications to understand the testing requirements.
• Provide feedback on usability and suggest functional improvements based on testing results.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience in writing test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with email protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP3.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Experience
