Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Jira Service Management (JSM) Cloud Migration Specialist to lead the migration of our on-premises JSM systems to the Atlassian Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in JSM, with deep expertise in cloud configuration, performance optimization, and stakeholder engagement. This is a critical role that will shape the future of our service management infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end migration of on-premises JSM instances to Atlassian Cloud with minimal disruption to operations.
- Reconfigure JSM Cloud to align with business objectives, ITSM best practices, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and continuity during and after migration.
- Provide post-migration support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Deliver training and create clear documentation for internal users and administrators.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and JSM updates to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Jira Service Management.
- Proven success in migrating JSM from on-premises to cloud environments.
- In-depth knowledge of JSM Cloud features, configurations, and integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Atlassian certifications in Jira Service Management or equivalent experience are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ITSM best practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Familiarity with Confluence, Opsgenie, and other Atlassian tools.
- Scripting or automation experience using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira Automation, REST APIs, etc.).
- Experience with third-party integrations or migration tools.
