Main areas in which this job must get results in order to achieve its purpose.

Key Responsibilities

1.  To meet production Targets on weekly and monthly Basis with no compromise to quality specifications, Cleanongs, Start up and of production protocols.
2. Production planning and execution at Minimum 80% on monthly basis.
3. To maintain discipline in the work force.
4. Selection, coaching and development of Personnel.
5. Safety of personnel, facilities, and equipment’s.
6. To ensure achievement of targeted yields, and efficiencies and usage factors.
7. Production losses in control as per targets.
8. To ensure QA-Specs are maintained on Daily Basis,
9. Identify Training needs for self and team members.
10. To identify Improvement projects and timely execution.
11. To ensure compliance to CLTI checks, PM activities Lubrication schedule with 95% compliance on monthly basis.
12. To ensure all equipment’s are maintained in 90% to OE condition on monthly basis.
13. To ensure R&M expenses with in budget on quarterly basis.
14. To ensure GMP and HK score at 95% minimum on monthly basis.
15. Ensure Daily weekly and monthly production reports on time.
16. To ensure availability of critical spares and consumables at any given time.
17. To ensure availability of Raw materials- 48 hours prior to production.
18. Responsibility to ensure plant readiness for QFS audit and other audits at any given time without prior notice
19. Verify & Ensure housekeeping, Hygiene, Pest control and GMP requirements are implemented in the production and processing areas. (Plant Hygiene, Equipment Hygiene & Personnel Hygiene)
20. To support QA-Team in ensuring WUR in control.
21. To take Owner ship of overall calibration program both internal and external of overall quality related and critical equipment in the plant.
22. To Perform and conduct sensory program in the plant.
23. Be updated on all new requirements as per kore and Legal requirements.
24. Compliance to Quality & Food Safety Requirements has to be complied during start up, production shutdown and cleaning & Sanitation.
25. Ensure that the Cleaning & Sanitation activities are carried out in the line and process areas and the equipment are fit for production.
26. Implement & Monitor Food Safety Management System / HACCP requirements in the production and processing areas.
27. Ensure that the QFS monitoring/ production Documentation in the prescribed formats in a clearly legible manner without any manipulation or alteration.

Safe and healthy work environment

Equipment safety inspections are done.

Safe working procedures specific to process are documented and users are trained in their use.

Personal protective equipment is used and maintained in good working conditions by employees.  Generally neat and tidy and free of dust and waste.
