Field Service Engineer – X-Ray & Radiology

Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide clinical training, technical support, and troubleshooting for Remescan, an FDA and CE-approved ultraportable X-ray device. This position requires daily travel across Hyderabad to train and support radiologists, technicians, hospital staff, and biomedical teams on device operation, maintenance, and best practices. This role contributes to ensuring the effective deployment and usage of advanced medical technology in healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical training sessions on using ultraportable X-ray devices for radiologists, technicians, and hospital staff.
  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for device-related issues.
  • Assist the sales team in product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Work closely with hospitals, diagnostic centers, and biomedical departments to ensure smooth device implementation and usage.
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and user manuals for effective onboarding.
  • Maintain detailed reports on training sessions, technical issues, and client feedback.
  • Participate in medical conferences, symposia, and CME-accredited events to stay updated on industry trends and build professional networks.
  • Travel daily for on-site visits, training, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Work from the office on non-field days.
  • Ensure timely submission of travel expense claims with proper receipts for reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in clinical training, radiology equipment handling, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of X-ray imaging systems, PACS, and radiology workflow.
  • Experience working with hospitals, diagnostic centers, and biomedical departments.
  • Must be Hyderabad-based and able to join immediately or within 15 days of the notice period.
