Job Summary

The AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in our cloud operations, focusing on improving the deployment process, automating workflows, and ensuring the reliability of our AWS infrastructure. This position is designed for individuals who are adept at collaborating across teams and possess a solid understanding of cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and resilient AWS cloud architectures.
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and tools into the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation of the cloud architecture and DevOps processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking, security, and database management in AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Familiarity with service meshes and microservices architecture.

Experience

5-8 years of relevant experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
