Job Summary

The Head of Sales and Partnerships is a crucial leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of effective sales channels and valuable partnerships. This individual will act as a bridge between the founders and the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team and partnerships to drive growth in D2C and third-party channels.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with marketplaces, distribution channels, and key partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • 15-20 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or related fields, preferably in a B2B and D2C environment.
  • Proven understanding of marketplace dynamics and distribution strategies.
  • Strong track record of developing successful partnerships and driving sales performance.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a C-Level role, specifically in a Chief Business Officer (CBO) capacity.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and sales technologies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and sales performance metrics.

Experience

A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with exposure to both direct and indirect sales channels, and a proven ability to lead diverse teams effectively.

Environment

Salary

Estimated salary range of INR 80,000 to 90,000 per month, with potential for an annual total compensation of around INR 1.2 crores, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
