Job Summary

The Head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for developing and deploying a robust infrastructure roadmap that aligns with business objectives. This role encompasses all aspects of infrastructure and information security, ensuring that the infrastructure team operates efficiently while maximizing the return on investment through strategic planning and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an infrastructure roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee the management of IT Infrastructure, ensuring availability, scalability, and security for corporate users.
• Evaluate and manage various IT budgets to ensure cost-effective operations and best value.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and assess performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of SAP systems and support new digital technologies.
• Conduct performance appraisals and career planning for the infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• Educational: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computers or Information Technology.
• Professional Skills:
  • Extensive experience in designing and managing IT infrastructures across various domains including servers and security.
  • Proficient in presenting infrastructure options for management review to enhance ROI.
  • Ability to evaluate vendor efforts and challenge service estimates as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of IT policies, systems, and project management.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with enterprise-level IT security protocols and compliance.
• Experience with implementation and management of digital technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud solutions, and Augmented Reality (AR).
• Relevant certifications in security would be advantageous.

Experience

• A total of 15-18 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including hands-on experience with SAP infrastructure and new technologies.
• Proven history of leading infrastructure initiatives in a corporate environment.
