<div>Job Title: Head – Soft Skills Development<br />
Department: Human Resources / Learning &amp; Development<br />
Location: Mumbai, India (Head Office)<br />
Reporting To: Group Learning Head<br />
Role Overview:<br />
The Head – Soft Skills Development will design and drive MOFSL’s enterprise-wide behavioural and<br />
soft skills strategy across all business lines — including Wealth Management, Private Wealth<br />
Management, Institutional Equities, Asset Management, Investment Banking, MO Alternates,<br />
Housing Finance, Corporate Teams and Support Functions. This role will strengthen the<br />
organization’s culture of excellence and collaboration by enabling every employee to consistently<br />
demonstrate MOFSL’s values of integrity, client focus, teamwork, and performance through<br />
structured learning interventions and measurable outcomes.<br />
Key Responsibilities:<br />
Strategy &amp; Design<br />
Develop and implement MOFSL’s Soft Skills Capability Framework aligned with<br />
strategic business goals and leadership competencies.<br />
Conduct deep diagnostics across business units to identify behavioral,<br />
communication, and interpersonal capability gaps.<br />
Translate insights into learning priorities mapped to workforce segments and<br />
corresponding roles.</div>
<div> Program Development &amp; Instructional Design<br />
Design comprehensive learning interventions using instructional design<br />
principles—ensuring programs are learner-centric, engaging, and results driven.<br />
Create blended learning journeys (classroom, digital, micro learning, simulations,<br />
coaching) for diverse employee groups.<br />
Build and mentor internal trainer communities through train-the-trainer programs.<br />
Measurement &amp; Impact Assessment<br />
Establish clear measurement metrics—including Kirkpatrick-level evaluations,<br />
behavioural indicators, and business KPIs—to assess learning effectiveness and<br />
behavioural change.<br />
Use analytics and feedback loops to demonstrate the impact of learning<br />
interventions on individual performance and organizational culture.<br />
Present periodic insights and performance dashboards to senior leadership.<br />
Stakeholder Partnership &amp; Alignment<br />
Collaborate with Business Heads, HRBPs, and functional leaders to align<br />
interventions with business needs.<br />
Partner with external experts, consulting firms, and technology providers to deliver<br />
global best practices in behavioural training.<br />
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on behavioural and cultural<br />
development initiatives.</div>
<div> Culture Enablement &amp; Leadership Development<br />
Embed soft skills as a critical enabler of leadership readiness and service excellence<br />
across all business lines.<br />
Foster a culture of continuous behavioural growth emphasizing empathy, integrity,<br />
effective communication, and customer centricity.</div>
<div> Team Development &amp; Leadership<br />
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of learning professionals, enabling them to<br />
design, deliver, and evaluate high-impact behavioural development programs across<br />
all business lines.</div>
<div> Build team capability through coaching, skill enhancement, and exposure to new<br />
learning technologies and trends.</div>
<div>Required Skills &amp; Competencies:<br />
Expertise in behavioural learning design, instructional design methodologies, and learning<br />
diagnostics.<br />
Strong understanding of BFSI-specific behavioural needs, regulatory context, and client<br />
interaction dynamics.<br />
Demonstrated ability to measure and communicate learning ROI.<br />
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and change management capabilities.<br />
Qualifications &amp; Experience:<br />
Postgraduate in HR, Behavioural Sciences, Organizational Psychology, or related discipline.<br />
12–15 years of experience in Learning &amp; Development, with at least 5 years<br />
leading behavioural and soft skills initiatives at scale.<br />
Experience in BFSI, consulting, or large enterprise environments preferred.<br />
Certifications in psychometrics, facilitation, coaching, or instructional design are desirable.<br />
