Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for forming and driving strategic national alliances, onboarding significant clients, and building distribution tie-ups with various financial institutions. This role aims to enhance the company's market share in collaboration with Sales Teams and strengthen relationships with key clients while ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Form and drive national strategic alliances while onboarding large clients.
- Build distribution partnerships with non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), foreign banks, public sector banks (PSBs), and wealth management setups.
- Execute strategies collaboratively with Sales Teams to increase distribution in the region.
- Track and follow up on new business leads to ensure growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and favorable information dissemination.
- Guide the team to meet revenue targets by monitoring sales metrics and analyzing sales data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive activities, analyzing customer behavior and identifying new market opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and knowledge of mutual fund markets and products.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Design and monitor contests and other activities for the Strategic Alliances team.
Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: MBA/Post Graduation and AMFI Certification.
- Minimum Work Experience: 10+ years in financial services, preferably in Asset Management with knowledge of mutual fund products.
