Job Summary

The Database Administrator will be responsible for the management and maintenance of database systems. This role includes performing upgrades, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery planning, and troubleshooting. The DBA plays a key role in supporting the organization's database needs, contributing to smooth and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct database upgrades across multiple versions and releases.
• Set up and administer high availability (RAC) environments.
• Design and plan for disaster recovery, including setting up and managing Data Guard (standby).
• Install, configure, and maintain Golden Gate, including troubleshooting any issues.
• Manage and maintain Exadata systems.
• Configure and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Analyze performance metrics using AWR, ADDM, SQL Profile, ASH, and advisory views.
• Collaborate on operating system, storage, network, and virtualization activities.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in database administration.
• Certification in the primary technology related to the job function.
• Proficient in managing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with Exadata systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) configuration.
• Strong analytical skills for performance analysis.
• Experience in operating systems, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Troubleshooting skills with tools like Golden Gate.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional database technologies or tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with other database platforms may be advantageous.
