Job Summary
The International Sales Manager will spearhead Knya’s expansion into overseas markets, building and scaling the international B2B business from the ground up. This role involves identifying high-potential markets, establishing distributor and institutional partnerships, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring long-term account growth. The position requires strategic market entry, negotiation, and operational coordination to achieve revenue targets and strengthen Knya’s global presence.
Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Expansion
- Identify and prioritize international markets such as GCC, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the UK.
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans including channel mix, pricing, margins, compliance, and revenue goals.
- Monitor competitors, pricing strategies, and buyer expectations to inform product development and market positioning.

Business Development & Closing
- Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, sampling, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Establish and grow partnerships with distributors, importers, hospital groups, healthcare institutions, and uniform buyers.
- Represent Knya at international trade fairs, buyer meetings, and healthcare expos, following up to close deals.
- Respond to tenders and RFQs with well-costed proposals tailored to overseas institutions.

Account Management & Growth
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, managing key accounts to ensure repeat orders and sustained growth.
- Serve as the primary contact for international buyers, providing updates on orders, timelines, and new product launches.
- Handle escalations efficiently, safeguarding relationships and Knya’s margins.

Operations, Compliance & Reporting
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to plan export orders, lead times, MOQs, and customization requests.
- Coordinate export documentation, logistics, payment terms, and certifications with finance and operations teams.
- Maintain a clean CRM system and generate monthly reports on pipeline status, conversions, revenue, and collections.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of international B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of opening new overseas markets or accounts.
- Background in apparel, textiles, uniforms, medical consumables, or healthcare products.
- Hands-on understanding of export processes including Incoterms, documentation, payment terms (LC, advance, credit), and shipping.
- Strong negotiation skills with confidence to close large deals with distributors and institutional buyers.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with comfort working across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of distributors, importers, or hospital procurement contacts in target regions.
- Experience selling to hospitals, healthcare institutions, or through government tenders.
- Familiarity with international product standards and certifications for healthcare textiles.
- Experience scaling an international channel at a startup or growing D2C brand.
- Working knowledge of Arabic, French, or other regional languages relevant to target markets.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years in international B2B sales, particularly within healthcare, textiles, or apparel sectors.
- Demonstrated success in market expansion, partnership development, and large deal closures.

- The role is based onsite in Mumbai, Worli, with a requirement for international travel.
