Job Summary

We are seeking an AWS Glue Specialist who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS Glue. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating data integration and management to support data analysis and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion solutions using AWS Glue.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to meet business requirements.
• Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing workflows.
• Maintain documentation of data processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly AWS Glue.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala for ETL coding.
• Experience with data warehouse concepts and cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem, including S3, Redshift, and IAM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spark and data lake technologies.
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Data Analytics.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience working with cloud-based ETL tools and data processing frameworks.
