Research Intern

Job Summary

The Research Intern will support engineering research and development projects by applying simulation and modeling skills. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in engineering research, particularly in areas related to simulation, computer-aided design (CAD), and manufacturing processes. The intern will contribute to ongoing projects and assist with various tasks, enabling the organization to advance its engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting simulations using ANSYS to analyze and optimize engineering designs.
• Develop and modify 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks CAD software.
• Support manufacturing engineering projects by preparing documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collect and analyze experimental and simulation data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with research teams to brainstorm solutions and improve product designs.
• Contribute to literature reviews and background research as required for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ANSYS simulation software.
• Skilled in SolidWorks CAD modeling and technical drawing preparation.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
