Job Summary

The AI/ML Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales in the AI/ML infrastructure space. This role requires a strong technical background and understanding of AI/ML technologies and their applications. The candidate will focus on selling infrastructure, development tools, and machine learning products, with particular emphasis on targeting infrastructure companies where large language models (LLMs) and AI technologies are primary products. This position involves engaging with C-level executives, specifically Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), and managing a substantial sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to achieve a quarterly pipeline target of $2 million.
  • Maintain a high conversion rate of 30% or above on sales opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, with an expected sales cycle length of 3 months.
  • Develop a mix of leads through both outbound efforts and leveraging provided leads.
  • Conduct both hunting and farming activities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Engage CTOs as key stakeholders to discuss infrastructure solutions in the AI/ML domain.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in sales, specifically in the AI/ML infrastructure or development tools space.
  • Proven track record of selling products with a deal size of $2 million or more.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience in sector-focused sales, particularly with infrastructure companies.
  • Ability to handle both Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) as well as Enterprise accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with C-level executives.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in sales roles that do not include CRM or HR technology products.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML products and their market landscape.
  • Experience in sales strategies targeting LLMs and AI infrastructure products.

Experience
