<p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Set the vision and direction for how technology will be leveraged at STUMBL to grow our digital footprint and continuously innovate on our customer experience.</li>
<li>Build a solid engineering team while enabling the engineers on technical direction, and partnering with product management to define overall strategy.</li>
<li>As a member of the founding team, formulate broad organizational goals and understand how to align your team and overall STUMBL objectives.</li>
<li>Partner closely with the founders to develop the vision for our product offering and ensure that the software architecture is designed for the near and long term.</li>
<li>Build credibility with engineers, lead technical reviews and discussions, ensure best practices are developed and enforced, and advocate for the needs of the engineers.</li>
<li>Create timelines and budget for the development, timely delivery, and deployment of all large scale engineering initiatives.</li>
<li>Evaluate technology and vendors, always looking for ways to improve the way we build products.</li>
<li>Be a steward of the STUMBL culture: exemplify our core values and maintain an inclusive environment within and beyond the engineering team.</li>

<ul>
<li>Significant experience as a technology leader in a growth-minded organization: You know what it takes to both scale and sustain high performing teams.</li>
<li>Vision & Direction: You have experience leading an organization and understand how to build roadmaps that directly contribute to the success of company objectives.</li>
<li>Experience leading and growing early stage teams & platforms that deliver innovative solutions to create lasting business value, ideally in Ecommerce or Consumer Internet companies.</li>
<li>A problem solver, able to balance competing priorities, strong process orientation and ability to manage through complexity and rapid change.</li>
<li>Excellent managerial skills and interpersonal skills: You can effectively communicate and collaborate with all areas of engineering and interact and work with staff at all levels.</li>
<li>Influence: You build strong relationships through your expertise and align your team and stakeholders to what’s best for STUMBL</li>
<li>Deep understanding of software engineering and architecture - you’ve been a developer in the past but are focused on leadership now.</li>
<li>Astute eye for the aesthetic and a keen instinct for user experience in eCommerce.</li>
