Job Summary

The Application Packaging role is essential for ensuring the successful deployment and management of software applications within the organization. This position requires a strong background in IT and a focus on customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate activities related to application packaging requirements, including testing, reporting, and deployment.
• Conduct application compatibility testing and remediation to ensure seamless integration of software applications.
• Utilize packaging tools such as Flexera AdminStudio and Windows Application Virtualization offerings (Microsoft App-V, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft Intune).
• Develop and maintain scripts using languages like VBScript, batch script, and PowerShell for automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with local and global teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination across functions.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address client expectations and issues.

Qualifications

• Background in IT, Computer Science Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer focus and understanding of client expectations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Experience with application packaging tools (Flexera AdminStudio, SCCM 2007/2012, Altiris).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript, batch script, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of application compatibility testing and remediation processes.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Windows Application Virtualization offerings.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Experience

• Relevant experience in application packaging and deployment, with a focus on troubleshooting and client interaction.

Environment

• The position is based in Bangalore and follows a hybrid work model, combining both in-office and remote work.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹600,000 per annum.
