Location: Mumbai<br /> Experience Level: 2 + Years<br /> Budget: 3 – 5 LPA<br /> Job Description for Junior Electrical Engineer.<br /> System Design and Integration:<br /> • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers,<br /> and systems engineers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall design.<br /> • Design and layout of electrical systems, including power distribution, cable, bus bar, wiring<br /> harnesses, connectors, and control modules, battery management, and charging systems.<br /> • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all aspects of electrical<br /> design.<br /> Prototyping and Testing:<br />
- Develop prototypes of electrical systems and components for validation and testing<br /> purposes. Preparation and review of BOM, RFP & RFQ<br /> • Collaborate with testing teams to conduct functional, performance, and safety tests on<br /> electrical systems, diagnosing and resolving any issues that arise.<br /> • Identify opportunities for innovation and propose improvements to enhance the efficiency,<br /> performance, and sustainability of EV electrical systems.<br /> Documentation and Reporting:<br /> • Create detailed documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports related to<br /> electrical design.<br /> • Communicate design concepts and findings effectively to team members, management, and<br /> stakeholders.<br /> Qualifications and Experience:<br /> • Electrical / Mechatronics engineering qualifications to degree level or a minimum of 5 years<br /> industry experience with an apprenticeship qualification.<br /> • Experience working with 3D CAD systems is advantageous but not critical.<br /> • Hazardous Voltages (DC) and CAN Bus experience is advantageous but not critical.<br /> • Experience with simulation and analysis tools for electrical systems.<br /> • Knowledge of electric vehicle architectures, power electronics, and battery management<br /> systems.<br /> • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electric vehicles.<br /> • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br /> • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.<br /> • Prior experience in electric vehicle design or automotive electronics is a plus.<br /> • Experience with preparing and submitting detailed design specifications of high value<br /> projects.<br /> • A proactive individual with strong commitment and self-motivation.<br /> • Willingness to embrace innovation and creativity - Lateral thinking is encouraged.<br /> • Test and commissioning experience
