Job Summary

The Desktop Support Engineer will provide essential IT helpdesk and technical support to end-users while configuring and maintaining desktop and small computer equipment. Responsibilities

• Provide IT helpdesk support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-users.
• Configure, maintain, and support end-user and small computer equipment.

• Work independently to problem-solve while knowing when to escalate issues for further assistance.
• Prioritize and complete tasks effectively under pressure while adhering to established timeframes.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.
• Strong ability to create and maintain documentation for desktop support processes.
• Degree in a relevant field is desired; equivalent work experience or certifications are required.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud and on-premises products from Microsoft, Atlassian, Slack, and Google.
• Knowledge of security controls on end-user systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of networking principles and basic troubleshooting.

Experience
