Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing the infrastructure and deployment pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of applications while contributing to the organization's goals of automation and infrastructure optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance and health using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployment and enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI (optional).
- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Docker Compose.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with version control systems: Git and GitFlow/GitOps.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS (priority), Azure, GCP (optional).
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Fluentd.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with installers and packaging tools such as InstallShield, NSIS / Inno Setup.
- Familiarity with Linux package managers (e.g., DEB, RPM).
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
