Job Summary

The CSR & Partnerships Lead is a revenue-focused role that aims to unlock corporate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budgets, foundations, and strategic partnerships to fund UrbanKisaan projects in India. The lead will build a strong pipeline of stakeholders whose mandates align with food security, climate resilience, and rural livelihoods. This role is crucial for converting interest into funded, multi-year programs that deliver real outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of CSR, foundation, and institutional partners across India and beyond.
• Close funded partnerships and multi-year programs that meet established revenue targets.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to scope projects ensuring alignment of partner outcomes and company economics.
• Manage reporting, compliance, and impact measurement requirements for CSR and grant funding.
• Represent UrbanKisaan with corporate sustainability heads, foundations, and government bodies.
• Maintain visibility of pipeline, forecasting, and conversion metrics for the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 6 years in partnerships, CSR, institutional sales, fundraising, or business development in the development sector.
• Network: A well-established network across corporate sustainability teams, foundations, or the ability to build one quickly.
• Revenue Ownership: Comfortable with owning revenue targets and maintaining a disciplined pipeline and forecast.
• Communication Skills: Strong writing and presentation skills to develop clear, fundable project proposals.
• Knowledge of CSR: Familiarity with India's CSR landscape and its reporting requirements.
• Motivation for Impact: Driven by the opportunity to blend commercial outcomes with meaningful real-world impact.
• Role Readiness: Prepared for an individual contributor (IC) role with a performance-linked uncapped compensation package.

Experience
