Job Summary

The ETL Tester will be responsible for designing and executing ETL test cases, ensuring the integrity and performance of data across various platforms. This role is crucial in verifying that data transformation processes run smoothly, directly contributing to the organization’s data quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute ETL test cases to validate data transformation processes.
• Automate tests using Java and Selenium to enhance testing efficiency.
• Utilize Unix command tools (such as WinSCP and Putty) for file manipulation and data handling.
• Test both upstream and downstream applications, including web services, APIs, and batch processes to ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ETL testing and data quality assurance.
• Proficiency in ETL testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong experience with Unix command tools for effective file manipulation.
• Expertise in automation testing using Java and Selenium.
• Familiarity with various file formats including delimited, fixed width, and binary.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with additional testing tools or frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ETL, automation testing, and data management processes.

Environment

• The position is remote/hybrid, with one day in-office at the DevLabs location in Noida.

Salary

• The estimated budget for this role is 150K.
