Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in traditional machine learning methodologies and advanced data analytics. This full-time position involves leveraging a variety of data analysis and modeling techniques to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to projects aimed at improving performance and efficiency through rigorous analysis, modeling, and the deployment of machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement traditional machine learning models for various data analysis tasks such as regression analysis, anomaly detection, and recommendation systems.
• Conduct feature engineering and time series forecasting to prepare datasets for analysis and model training.
• Optimize machine learning algorithms through hyperparameter tuning and cross-validation techniques.
• Deploy machine learning models using platforms such as Azure Data Lake and Azure Databricks, ensuring efficient performance in a production environment.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and patterns, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and support ongoing analysis-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries like Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and frameworks for deep learning such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, including linear regression, logistic regression, and clustering methods.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for model deployment and management.
• Experience working with cloud services, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of reinforcement learning techniques.
• Experience with telematics data analytics.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks for big data analytics.
• Understanding of ROC curve analysis and evaluation metrics such as F1-Score.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or a related field.
