Job Summary

The ETL Tester will play a crucial role in validating and testing ETL processes specifically in the investment banking and asset management domains. This position is vital for ensuring data accuracy and integrity, contributing to the organization’s goals in financial data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate ETL processes using SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for asset management data workflows.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data through comprehensive testing methodologies.
• Develop and execute test plans and cases according to project specifications.
• Leverage advanced SSIS proficiency for effective ETL development and testing.
• Collaborate with data teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Maintain documentation for tests and provide evaluation sheets as mandatory.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in ETL testing.
• Must have Investment Banking experience.
• 6+ years of SQL development and database management experience.
• 3+ years of asset management data testing experience.
• 1 year of experience in the Investment Banking domain.
• Proven knowledge of third-party data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, RIMES, Morningstar, eVestment).
• Expertise in benchmark data across multiple asset classes.
• Ability to work as an independent contractor with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data warehousing, knowledge of Snowflake is a plus.
• Possession of financial data management certifications.
• Skills in performance tuning and optimization.

Experience

• Candidates must have 6-10 years of relevant experience in ETL testing, with a strong focus on investment banking.

Environment

• This role is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office and 2 days remote work.
• Location: Bangalore (Whitefield) or Mumbai.
• Work hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM; candidates must be flexible with these hours.

Salary

• 1.2 LPM + Tax (Salary details are indicative of the candidate's experience level).
