TL Hosur - Vehicle Line

Job Summary

The Transformation Lead (TL) for the Vehicle Line at Hosur will serve as a critical business partner and technology evangelist within the manufacturing organization. This role involves collaborating with Product Owners and Business Owners across various functions such as Vehicle Assembly Line, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to identify and implement digital solutions and process improvements. The TL will champion stakeholder requirements, prioritize technology implementations, and drive lean process development to enhance operational efficiency and business value.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Owners to gather requirements and solve business problems through process definitions, digital solutions, and process improvements including automation, lean six sigma, and velocity enhancements.
• Prepare business cases to justify digitization initiatives and prioritize stakeholder requests effectively.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the Information Systems (IS) group to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation of requirements.
• Evangelize the adoption of digital tools and technology to improve organizational efficiency.
• Develop a deep understanding of stakeholder tools and participate in both IS and business swimlanes.
• Prioritize technology implementations with IS Product Owners by assessing cost, benefits, and timelines.
• Champion lean process development to meet business objectives and convert stakeholder problem statements into actionable solutions.
• Participate in early User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support adoption through training, awareness, and post-implementation handholding.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in setting up processes and systems for two-wheeler (2W) and four-wheeler (4W) manufacturing setups.
• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business value chain including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and warehousing.
• Ability to assess change needs from problem statements, create system Product Requirement Documents (PRD), and execute end-to-end process and system implementations.
• Experience in business process design, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Value Stream Design and Improvement Analysis (VSDiA).
• Basic understanding of IT tools architecture.
• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Technical Collaboration Product Lifecycle Management (TC PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Ariba.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills with a focus on Return on Investment (ROI) and business value delivery.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to train and mentor teams on new processes and technologies.

Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing process and system implementation, preferably in automotive or related industries.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams involving manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and IT.

Salary

• Estimated annual salary: INR 920,000
