Program Manager – Banking Domain

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs across multiple business domains. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical delivery. This role requires a strong focus on governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic oversight. The Program Manager will act as the key bridge between business units, IT, data, and operations, ensuring successful and timely program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Manage and oversee multiple projects within a program portfolio, ensuring dependencies, risks, and resources are effectively managed.
• Establish strong governance frameworks and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (where applicable).
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between business, IT, and operations teams.
• Provide regular reporting, dashboards, and updates to senior C-Level management and stakeholders.
• Identify and proactively address risks, issues, and bottlenecks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
• Maintain clear and transparent stakeholder communication at all levels of the organization.
• Foster a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement within program teams.
• Influence decision-making by providing structured insights, raising concerns, and challenging assumptions where necessary.

Qualifications

• 15–18 years of overall experience, including 10–12 years in the banking domain, with a strong background in program and project management.
• Must have 6–7 years of experience working with UAE banks.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale, complex, cross-functional programs.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to bridge business and technology requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, drive structure, and influence key decisions.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience

• 15 to 18 years of professional experience.
• 10 to 12 years of specific banking experience.
• 6 to 7 years of experience in the UAE banking sector.
