Job Summary

The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating the quality, scalability, and reliability of SaaS-based web applications, backend databases, and data-driven systems. This role demands hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, cloud-based testing, and performance monitoring. Candidates will contribute to the full QA lifecycle—manual, automation, and continuous validation—ensuring seamless end-user experiences. The position involves driving robust test strategies across SaaS platforms, leveraging automation tools like Puppeteer and Playwright, collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

Mandatory skills:

• Looking for Data AI background
• Familiar with LLM and testing
• SAAS based product web testing
• Must need Elastic search
• Backend database testing – Postgre, SQL
• Familiar with Grafana
• Automation tool – puppeteer and Playwright (if not both either one atleast)
• Working knowledge with Jenkins, Azure

• Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing of SaaS-based web applications.
• Perform backend database testing, including data integrity, migration, and query validation.
• Validate search functionality leveraging Elastic Search.
• Design and maintain Grafana dashboards for monitoring test outcomes and performance KPIs.
• Implement and execute automation testing frameworks using Puppeteer and Playwright.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Document defects with clarity and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Continuously optimize QA processes for speed, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 4+ years of hands-on QA testing experience across SaaS/web applications.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience using Puppeteer and Playwright.
• Strong experience in SaaS product web application testing.
• Hands-on expertise in backend database testing.
• Working knowledge of Elastic Search validation.
• Ability to create and maintain Grafana charts/dashboards.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Certifications in QA, Automation, or Cloud (preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents and AI-driven systems.

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in QA engineering, focusing on SaaS and automation testing.

Environment

The position is based in either Chennai or Bangalore with US overlapping shifts, promoting a collaborative work culture and the flexibility of a tech-driven environment.
