About Asai<br />
Asai is a science-first cookware brand built for modern Indian kitchens. The idea for Asai began in<br />
our founder Prerna’s kitchen. As a mother of two, she found herself asking a question most of us<br />
rarely pause to ask: what exactly are we cooking our food on every day? The search for an honest<br />
answer led her into deep research on coatings, fumes, microplastics, and hidden toxins and to a<br />
wider gap between what cookware claims and what it proves. Asai was created to address that gap.<br />
Alongside engineers, designers and product obsessives, Asai builds safe cookware designed for<br />
Indian cooking - high heat, acidic foods, daily use, real kitchens. Our approach is grounded in<br />
material science, rigorous testing, and restraint in what we claim. Every batch of Asai cookware is<br />
independently lab-tested, and each pan comes with a scannable Health Report. Not as a feature but<br />
as a baseline for trust.<br />

We’re hiring a young, hungry, high-ownership Corporate Gifting leader to build ASAI’s corporate<br />
gifting engine from Day 1. This role is for someone who has done corporate gifting deeply, knows<br />
how to crack accounts, and already has a live network of decision-makers + distributors/aggregators<br />
that can be activated immediately.<br />
You will own the corporate gifting number end-to-end: pipeline → pitches → sampling →<br />
negotiations → closures → delivery coordination → repeat cycles.<br />
Key Responsibilities<br />
1) Corporate Gifting – Revenue Ownership<br />
• Own and grow ASAI’s corporate gifting revenue across festive, annual, and special-<br />
occasion calendars.<br />
• Build and close a pipeline across HR, Admin, Procurement, CXO offices, Founder’s<br />
offices, and gifting committees.<br />
• Drive meetings, proposals, sampling, follow-ups, negotiations, closures, and repeat<br />
orders.<br />
• Deliver monthly and quarterly targets with a “hunter mindset” (high activity + strong<br />
closure discipline).<br />
2) Network-Led Growth (Must Have)<br />
• Leverage an existing network of:<br />
o direct corporate decision-makers, and<br />
o corporate gifting distributors / aggregators / channel partners<br />
to generate leads and conversions from Day 1.<br />
• Identify and onboard new channel partners and resellers to expand reach across India.<br />
3) Offer, Bundling & Gifting Playbooks<br />
• Build gifting-ready bundles and price ladders (entry / mid / premium) with clear MOQ<br />
logic.<br />
• Own seasonal playbooks: Diwali, New Year, annual rewards, employee onboarding kits,<br />
leadership gifting etc.<br />
• Work with internal teams to create gifting assets: catalog, pitch deck, rate cards, sample<br />
kits, and gifting landing material.<br />
4) Deal Execution + Cross-Functional Coordination<br />
• Coordinate closely with ops/logistics for: packaging specs, dispatch SLAs, address<br />
validation, and delivery timelines.• Ensure a premium gifting experience: boxing, inserts, personalization (where possible),<br />
and post-delivery support.<br />
• Maintain tight hygiene on payments, credit terms, and collections.<br />
5) Reporting & CRM Discipline<br />
• Maintain a clean CRM (or structured tracker): lead source, stage, next step, probability,<br />
value, closure date.<br />
• Weekly reporting on: pipeline health, closures, risks, and next actions.<br />
What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)<br />
• 3–7 years of experience with deep focus on Corporate Gifting / Corporate Sales (gifting-<br />
heavy).<br />
• Proven ability to close gifting deals with HR/Admin/Procurement stakeholders.<br />
• Startup experience is essential — you’ve done the hustle: cold outreach, follow-ups,<br />
running around for sampling, and solving last-mile issues.<br />
• Exceptional relationship building + strong communication (you can sell premium<br />
confidently).<br />
• You already have:<br />
o a meaningful set of direct corporate connects, and<br />
o distributor/aggregator contacts relevant to corporate gifting.<br />
Good to Haves<br />
• Experience in premium/lifestyle categories (home, kitchen, wellness, gifting, hospitality).<br />
• Strong negotiation capability around: pricing, MOQ, payment terms, delivery SLAs.<br />
• Comfort with building sales collateral and proposal-style selling.<br />
