Founding Business Development Representative (BDR)
Overview
Help shape our sales strategy from day one, working side-by-side with the founder, Amartya. We are seeking a scrappy go-getter who thrives on finding new ways to win and contributing to our sales growth from the ground up.
Responsibilities

First Week:
- Learn our product, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), pricing, and roadmap.
- Start booking your first demo.

First Month:
- Achieve 20+ net qualified demos through creative, data-driven outbound efforts.
- Track metrics, refine your approach, and improve our sales processes.

3 Months & Beyond:
- Scale up to 32+ demos per month.
- Build strong prospect relationships, create internal champions, and document scalable sales methods.

Core Responsibilities:
- 80%: Outbound prospecting, booking meetings, and experimenting with new lead-generation channels.
- 20%: Building basic sales processes, keeping the CRM clean, supporting deals, and creating content that resonates with technical buyers.
Qualifications
- Scrappy: Recognize hidden opportunities, write your own playbooks, and test unconventional channels.
- Technical Buyer Experience: 2+ years in BDR/SDR/growth roles, with a bonus for selling DevTools.
- Strong Communicator: Proficient in the language of technical buyers.
- Process-Oriented: Maintain a meticulous CRM and track experiments diligently.
- Sales Dev Expert: Stay ahead of trends and avoid spamming inboxes.
- Proven track record of achieving $1 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) sales.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in relevant roles such as BDR, SDR, or growth roles.
Environment
- Work side-by-side with the founder in a full-time role.
