Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis professional to join our team on a contractual basis. The primary goal of this role is to manage and support the SAP environment, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and reliability of our SAP systems across various business functions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP software and related components.
• Monitor SAP systems for performance issues and implement necessary adjustments.
• Perform system upgrades and patches to keep the SAP environment up to date.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure SAP solutions meet business needs.
• Conduct regular backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and components.
• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP upgrades and patching processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP HANA or other database platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions.
• SAP certification in Basis or related modules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Experience in managing large-scale SAP environments is preferred.

Environment

• This is a contractual position with opportunities to work either in Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai.
