Job Summary

The AWS DevOps Engineer with Python expertise will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and enhancing the overall efficiency of applications to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Automate deployment processes using Python scripts and existing DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and updates into the AWS environment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud deployments.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 9 to 11 years of experience in DevOps roles with a focus on AWS and Python.
• Proficient in using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
• Strong skills in Python programming for automation and scripting tasks.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) would be a plus.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

Experience

• A minimum of 9 to 11 years of relevant experience in DevOps, specifically with AWS and Python.

The role will be based at the Happiest Minds Technologies office located at SMILES Buildings 2, 3 & 4, Hosur Main Road, Madiwala, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The position requires working in a standard office environment with potential collaboration in a face-to-face interview setting.
