UX Design Lead

Job Summary

The UX Design Lead is responsible for executing designs based on customer journeys and needs. This role focuses on conducting user research, refining designs through user feedback, and collaborating with UI designers to create visually appealing, brand-consistent, and accessible interfaces. The UX Design Lead plays a critical role in enhancing the overall user experience by developing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and conducting usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points using methods such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Continuously refine designs based on user feedback and data analysis to improve the overall user experience.
• Collaborate with UI designers to create visually appealing and brand-consistent interfaces, ensuring usability and accessibility.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes to outline basic structure and layout, then develop interactive prototypes to test user flows and interactions.
• Conduct tests with real users to identify areas for improvement in design and functionalities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to document design specifications, user flows, and other relevant information for developers and stakeholders.
• Educational qualifications typically include a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in usability testing and user research methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with UI design principles and branding guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret user data and feedback.

Environment

• Full-time position based in Pune.
• Hybrid work mode combining remote and in-office work.

Salary

• Estimated salary: ₹700,000 INR per annum.
