Job Summary

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test solutions using various tools and frameworks. This role contributes to ensuring the quality and performance of applications by creating efficient test scripts and tools that streamline testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG to ensure software quality.
• Utilize Java for scripting automation test cases and maintaining the testing framework.
• Implement Postman Automation for API testing to validate backend functionality.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand the software requirements and improvements.
• Report and track defects effectively, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in regular stand-ups and sprint reviews to provide testing updates.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Selenium and TestNG.
• Deep knowledge of Java for scripting automation test cases.
• Hands-on experience in Postman Automation for API testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of C# is mandatory for the Noida location.
• Familiarity with other automation tools or frameworks.
• Experience in performance testing tools.

Experience

4 to 6 years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance.

Environment

The position is available in Noida and Bangalore, with a focus on remote collaboration as well as in-person interactions during team meetings.
