Shift Lead and App Support

Job Summary

The Shift Lead and App Support role focuses on providing high-quality support for applications while troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively. The individual in this position will play a critical role in ensuring seamless application performance and user satisfaction. This role is integral in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team during shifts, ensuring timely support and escalation of issues as necessary.
• Perform excellent troubleshooting and debugging to identify and resolve application issues.
• Monitor application performance using Appium and gather logs for analysis.
• Write complex queries and create reports based on troubleshooting findings.
• Provide L1 and L2 support with a balanced focus on both levels.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to enhance application performance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in application support and team leadership.
• Proven excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for effective issue resolution.
• Proficiency in using Appium for application monitoring.
• Good understanding of SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and cloud technologies (preferably Google Cloud Platform - GCP).
• Experience in the Banking and BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain is desirable.
• Ability to write queries and generate reports to communicate findings effectively.
• Adequate knowledge of Dynatrace is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Additional familiarity with infrastructure components can be beneficial.
• Experience in both L1 and L2 support roles, with 50% focus on each.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of relevant experience in application support and troubleshooting.

Environment

• The position requires working from an office for 5 days a week, based in Bangalore.
