Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional with over 5 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Marketo Engage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end customer journeys and marketing automation campaigns. This role demands a strong technical and strategic understanding of both platforms to deliver personalized and scalable customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO):

    • Design and build real-time, rule-based journeys using AJO.
    • Create and manage audience segmentation, triggers, and contextual personalization.
    • Integrate AJO with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP), and other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
    • Configure data schemas, event datasets, and business rules to optimize journey flows.
    • Monitor journey performance and optimize based on metrics and feedback.
  • Adobe Marketo Engage:

    • Plan, build, and execute automated marketing programs, including emails, landing pages, forms, and nurture streams.
    • Create and manage marketing workflows, lead scoring, and audience segmentation.
    • Implement campaign tracking, performance measurement, and reporting using Marketo Analytics.
    • Ensure integration between Marketo and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Troubleshoot technical issues, ensure data hygiene, and apply deliverability best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Marketo Engage.
  • Strong understanding of customer data platforms, journey orchestration, and marketing automation.
  • Experience integrating AJO and Marketo with platforms such as AEP, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, and external APIs.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and tokens for email templates and landing pages.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs for Marketo and AJO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of additional marketing automation tools or marketing technologies.
  • Experience with data privacy regulations and best practices.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing automation using AJO and Marketo Engage.
