Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Python Appium QA who has extensive experience in automation testing. This role expects the candidate to ensure high-quality software through rigorous testing processes and automated testing frameworks. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and driving efficiencies through automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation tests using Python/Java and Appium.
• Manage API testing and automation through REST API methodologies.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to define BDD scenarios using Cucumber.
• Utilize automation frameworks with Selenium and WebdriverIO to enhance testing efficiency.
• Execute tests using cloud-based testing tools like SauceLabs, Perfecto, Browserstack, or Headspin.
• Coordinate testing efforts and provide frequent updates to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cucumber, and Appium.
• Experience with REST API automation testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with project management and documentation tools like Jira, Confluence, ALM, and X-ray.
• Good planning and time-management abilities, with experience managing tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Previous experience in relationship management with internal and external customers.

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years in quality assurance with a strong focus on automation.
