The Role: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Location: Bengaluru
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
ABC. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead the commercialization strategy and operations for its specialty ingredients (Products Vertical) and Services (CDMO)
The CCO will play a crucial role in driving growth and market success across multiple product lines, including veterinary products, pharmaceutical intermediates/APIs, electronic chemicals, and nutraceuticals. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CCO will be a key member of the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, cross-functional commercialization strategy for Zenfold Sustainable Technologies' product portfolio.
- Build and Lead the Sales, Marketing, and Market Access teams to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and successful product launches across various sectors including veterinary, pharmaceutical, electronic, and nutraceutical industries.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to align commercial goals with overall business strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
- Drive the development and implementation of sales processes and KPIs to achieve specific business objectives and revenue targets.
- Provide leadership and direction to the commercial and sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the commercial budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial performance in line with company objectives.
- Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion in target markets.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to commercial operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (science or business).
- 15-20 years of experience in the specialty chemicals or related industry, with a minimum of 10 years leading and managing commercial functions. for the global markets
- Proven experience in building and optimizing commercial capabilities, preferably in the chemicals manufacturing sector.
- Preparing business cases and investment proposals
- Experience in enterprise transformation from pre-commercial to commercial phase.
- Familiarity with sustainability and commitment to sustainable business practices.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
- Previous experience in engaging with investors and Board of Directors (BoD) is an added advantage.
- Thorough understanding of the global market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and healthcare compliance regulations relevant to Zenfold Sustainable Technologies' product portfolio.
